Rashomon - A Compelling Kurosawa Film

Watching Rashomon, directed and written by Akira Kurosawa. Starring Toshiro Mifune and Takashi Shimura. Just an amazing bit of filmmaking and storytelling. The characters are so real and believable, but at the same time it's great theater. Has a lot of truth about humans and their souls, their beliefs, their flaws. Brilliant!
