Curse of the Demon - A British Horror Gem

Curse of the Demon is very like a Film Noir, deep shadows, mystery, shady characters - and stars Dana Andrews along with Peggy Cummins, two veterans of Film Noir classics! Ha! But it's a wonderfully spooky horror film. And yes, I know, there's a fake-looking supernatural critter in this story but I forgive such things when the script and acting and directing are all good, and they are! Plus, this film used to scare the absolute beejesus out of me when I was a child, so there's a bizarre sentimentality going on here in my affection for the film.

The plot has to do with runes and parapsychology and cults, so how could it not be fun?
